I have worked for The Department of Health and Human Services for 31 years. I have been employed as a youth specialist, Child Protective, Services Specialist, Foster Care Specialist, Youth and Transition Specialist, and Eligibility Specialist before being appointed as a Steward-At-Large for UAW Local 6000. I became a steward in my office in 2008 and served the membership by defending the contract and the members due process rights. I have served as Chairperson of the Wayne County Labor Management Team from 2010 to 2022. I have been a part of the Primary Bargaining Team since 2019. I have served on the secondary bargaining team for DHHS since 2015. I served as the Chair/ Liaison for the Department of Attorney General and Prosecuting Attorney Coordinating Council for secondary bargaining. I have served the membership in the best manner possible with integrity, diligence, tenacity, and honesty. I make sure that I defend individual's due process rights and provide fair representation.
